Valerie Augros took part to the PEOPIL annual conference (Amsterdam Sept. 2019)

Valérie Augros was honoured to participate to the annual conference of PEOPIL, that took place in Amsterdam from 5 to 6 September 2019.

She was invited to speak together with European colleagues on the issue of time limitations in personal injury cases. Her speech focused on French law, with cross borders disputes perspective. In her panel, Marco Bona (italy), Stefan Dangel (Germany), Ana Romero (Spain) et Peter Knijp (The Netherlands) also provided a clear insight of their respective legislation. Diversity of time limitations rules in Europe was then considered as well as the need to check the applicable deadlines in cross-border disputes.
